T-Birds Announce 2019-20 Schedule

Kent - The Seattle Thunderbirds are pleased to announce the release of their 2019-20 regular season schedule.

The T-Birds start the 2019-20 Western Hockey League regular season against the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday, September 21, at 6:05pm at accesso ShoWare Center.

The T-Birds next game is Friday, September 27, against the Tri-City Americans at 7:35pm at accesso ShoWare Center.

Sunday, June 30 is the deadline to receive two FREE tickets to the T-Birds Home Opener. T-Birds fans who purchase a 24-Flex Ticket Package before the June 30 deadline will receive two FREE tickets to the Home Opener against Kamloops. The 2019-20 season has 15 home games on a Saturday, eight home games on a Friday, six Tuesday home games, four home games on a Sunday and one home game on a Wednesday. All Saturday home games this season will continue to start at 6:05pm. All Friday home games will start at 7:35pm this season.

All six Tuesday games will feature 2-for-1 tickets, $2 concession specials on hot dogs, popcorn, and soda and 2-for-1 beer purchases.

The first 2-for-Tuesday of the season will feature the 2019 WHL Champion Prince Albert Raiders on Tuesday, October 22, at 7:05pm at accesso ShoWare Center.

Our I-5 rivals to the south, the Portland Winterhawks will be at accesso ShoWare Center six times on a Saturday this season.

The T-Birds will take on the their I-5 rival to the north, the Everett Silvertips, 10 times this season. Three of the home games are on a Saturday and two of the home games are on a Sunday.

The T-Birds road trip to the Central Division this season will be split into two three-game road trips. The team will play Red Deer, Edmonton and Calgary on October 25 through October 28. They will play the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Medicine Hat Tigers and Swift Current Broncos from January 3 to January 5.

The T-Birds travel to Victoria and Prince George for back-to-back games. They play the Royals on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7 and the Cougars on Tuesday, February 4 and Wednesday, February 5.

The T-Birds head to Portland for the annual New Year's Eve game on Tuesday, December 31 at 7pm.

The T-Birds final game of the season will be at Portland on March 22. The WHL playoffs will begin on Friday, March 27.

T-Birds single game tickets for the 2019-20 regular season will go on sale Wednesday, August 21, at 10am online on the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office.

T-Birds season tickets for the 2019-20 regular season are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.

All games in 2019-20 will be broadcast on 1090 KJR and streamed live on the 1090 KJR website.
