
Kalinichenko Signs KHL Contract

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans General Manager Bob Tory announced today that defenseman Roman Kalinichenko has signed a professional contract with CSKA Moscow in the KHL.
"We are really excited for Roman as he moves on to pro hockey," state Tory. "We would like to thank him for the two years he spent with our hockey club and wish him all the best moving forward in his hockey endeavors."
Tri-City selected Kalinichenko in the first-round (36th overall) of the 2017 CHL Import Draft. The Moscow, Russia native played 111 games with the Americans totaling 19 points (3 goals, 16 assists).
The 2019 CHL Import Draft will take place tomorrow, June 27th, at 8:00 AM (PDT). Tri-City will have two selections in the draft, the 31st and 91st overall picks.
