PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club today released their 2019-2020 regular season schedule, which begins on Friday, September 20th against the Vancouver Giants at the CN Centre.

The Home Opener is one of many feature games scheduled for the upcoming season. Prince George battles the Giants in a weekend double-header at the CN Centre to open up the season.

"In comparison to last year, we are very pleased to see improvements in our home game schedule this season," stated Cougars Vice President, Business Andy Beesley. "But having said that, we will continue to seek further improvements in the coming seasons to ensure our fans have the best possible home schedule and experience as the rest of our league."

Highlighting the feature game schedule is the home opener, the "Teddy & Toque Toss" and "Country Night" games. New fan experiences will be announced closer to the start of the season, however, will include events such as an "Oktoberfest" night. One staple that will return is "Fan Appreciation Night," scheduled for Friday, March 6th, against the Giants.

The Cougars will be playing at home around the holiday season, with their "Teddy & Toque Toss" game set for December 14th against the Victoria Royals. Then they ring in the New Year against the Everett Silvertips in a weekend double-header on January 3rd & 4th.
