Mavs Minutes

First Time For Everything

Last night's game represented a pair of firsts for the year - the Mavericks' first overtime loss and the Steelheads' first win in overtime on the season. The Mavs will look to bounce back in tonight's game as they face off against Idaho once again.

Carlson Stays Hot

Adam Carlson continued his run of impressive play, stopping 34 of 37 pucks last night to help the Mavericks add a point to their total. Carlson's play was a big reason the Mavericks were able to push the game to overtime after the Steelheads carried play in the third period.

The Last Leg

Tonight's game concludes a three-games-in-four-days stretch out west. The Mavs are 1-0-1-0 so far with a win at Colorado and last night's OTL in the first meeting with Idaho on the year.

Playoff Picture

The Mavericks extended their lead over Kalamazoo to two points thanks to last night's results - an OT loss for Kansas City and a regulation loss for the Wings.
