Orlando and Toledo come together for the second time in as many days, as the Solar Bears look for back-to-back wins over the Toledo Walleye. Yesterday, Orlando jumped out to a big lead in the first period as F Ian Slater scored on a breakaway less than two minutes into the game and forwards Mike Ullrich and David Rutherford each tallied before the end of the period to give the Solar Bears a 3-0 lead heading into the second. Toledo came storming back with two goals in the first eight minutes before forward C.J. Severyn lit the lamp for Orlando to make the score 4-2. F Scott Tanski scored with 48 seconds left to go in the frame, but just 12 seconds later Toledo answered as the Solar Bears held a 5-3 lead after two periods of play. Rutherford notched his second goal of the game 50 seconds into the third period and Orlando held off the Walleye for the 6-3 win.
