Late Goal by Lee Seals 3-2 Win for Bulls over Stockton

STOCKTON, Calif., - On Monday evening, the San Francisco Bulls (4-5-1-0) came from behind to beat the Stockton Thunder (6-3-0-0), 3-2, in a heated back-and-forth contest at Stockton Arena. Mark Lee scored his third goal of the season with 2:58 remaining in regulation for the game-winner. Tyler Beskorowany had another quality game in goal, stopping 28 of 30 shots.

The first period started off slowly, with the two sides combining for two shots through eight minutes of play. The pace picked up in the second half of the period. With 8:27 remaining in the period, the Thunder got on the board first on a 5-on-3 power play goal from Andrew Clark. He received assists from Nathan Deck and Ryan Hayes. With 3:06 remaining in the first frame, the Bulls struck back, getting a power play goal of their own from Chris Crane to tie the game at 1-1. Kyle Bigos and Jordan Morrison registered assists on the play.

The intensity increased in a second period with Stockton getting into penalty trouble. At 2:33, the Bulls capitalized on the Thunder's miscues, taking a 2-1 lead on a 5-on-3 power play goal from Dean Ouellet. Collin Bowman and Steven Tarasuk were given helpers on the play. For the period, San Francisco held the edge in shots, 16-9.

In the third period, the Bulls came out strong, but midway through the period, Deck tied the game at 2-2. His power-play goal was assisted by Clark and Hayes. San Francisco rebounded with 2:52 remaining in the game. Crane stole the puck behind the Thunder net and fed Lee, who beat Parker Milner from in front. Stockton made one last late push, but Beskorowany stood tall and sealed the victory.

Bulletins: Dean Ouellet has goals in each of the last two contests...Chris Crane recorded his first pro multi-point (1 goal, 1 assist) game...The Bulls scored multiple power-play goals in a game for the first time this season...The Bulls tied their season-high with 36 shots on goal. The Bulls out-shot the Thunder 36-30.
