TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (5-1-1-2=13 points) finish their three-game series against the Utah Grizzlies (2-4-1-1=6 points) tonight at the Maverik Center in West Valley City.

Ontario leads the Pacific Division and ranks second in the Western Conference, Utah is currently at the bottom of the Mountain Division and they rank seventh in the Western Conference.

SERIES SNAPSHOT:

Ontario's record against Utah is 1-1-0-0 so far this season. The Grizzlies have scored one more goal than the Reign in this series (3-2 overall), and they have outshot the Reign 54-50 in two games. Utah is the only team Ontario has played more than once without either of their two games going into overtime. Mathias Niederberger is the only Reign goalie the Grizzlies have faced and he has a 1.50 goals-against average and 0.944 save percentage. The Grizzlies are the most penalized opponent of the Reign in 2013-14 with 57 penalty minutes; the Reign has seen a slightly smaller amount, with 52 penalty minutes.

YOUNG GUNS:

This season the Reign have the youngest roster they have seen in club history with an average age of 23.71. There are seven active rookies on the team compared to Utah's four active rookies. Among this younger roster is still a wealth of professional experience with 922 AHL games played, and 36 international games played including 15 in the KHL. The Grizzlies' average age is 25 and their newly renovated roster contains players with experience in the ECHL (361 games), AHL (385 games), and even the NHL (3 games) with Adam Pineault who played with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2007-08 season.

On Saturday, Nov. 23 the Reign will celebrate the patients of Loma Linda University Children's Hospital for LLUCH Jersey Night. The team will wear speciality jerseys designed with a paint theme to be auctioned off immediately following the game in a live auction emceed by Jeff Pope. Also, the first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a mini stick courtesy of Steve's Service.
