Greenville, SC: The Greenville Road Warriors home losing streak continued after falling to the Gwinnett Gladiators 3-1 on Monday Night.

The Road Warriors kicked off Veterans Day by saluting all veterans and all local hero's with a special uniform. Other on-going events prior to and during the game gave acknowledgment to Greenville's fire-fighters, police officers, first responders and five branches of military.

The first period was a balanced attack from each team. Goaltender Connor Knapp faced 13 shots on goal and held the Gladiators off until midway into the period. Gladiator forward Evan Bloodoff scored an unassisted goal, intercepting a clearing attempt. Bloodoff scored his fourth of the year to put Gwinnett up by a 1-0 score.

Gwinnet began the second period with a penalty kill and an opportunity for Greenville to tie the game. Instead, Bloodoff was able to find his scoring touch again with his second of the night. This time he scored shorthanded with the assist going to Justin Weller just 1:27 into the period. In the second period, the Road Warriors outshot and out chanced Gwinnett but were not able to convert.

The third period both teams had equal chances to score, Knapp held off all goal attempts until half way into the period when Sacha Guimond fired a slap shot into the net for a 3-0 lead. Dirk Southern tallied the lone assist on the goal. The Road Warriors kept traffic in front of the net and finally with three minutes left in the period, Marc-Olivier Vallerand scored an unassisted shorthanded goal. The final horn sounded as the Road Warriors tied a franchise record four-straight home loses with a 3-1.
