Matchup:

The Road Warriors will take on the Orlando Solar Bears tonight for the third time this season. The Road Warriors are 0-2-0 against Orlando this season. The Warriors played the Solar Bears in the Amway Center at the end of November. On November 26th, the Road Warriors were blanked by the Solar Bears 1-0. On November 28th, the Road Warriors dropped a 3-1 decision with Brandon Hynes scoring the lone Road Warriors goal. The Road Warriors are coming off a 5-3 home win over Gwinnett with goals by Brad Cole, Lee Baldwin, Andrew Rowe, Justin Vaive, and Bretton Cameron. Goaltender Scott Stajcer made 28 saves to secure the win.

Orlando is coming off a 4-3 victory against the Colorado Eagles on Sunday. The Solar Bears came from behind in third period by scoring two goals in 36 seconds during the closing minutes of the third period. Orlando goaltenders, Garret Sparks and John Curry, are ranked 13th and 17th in the league in save percentages with marks of .925 and .920 respectively. Solar Bears' defenseman Blake Kessel is ranked 20th among defenseman with 9 points, registering 3 goals and 6 assists.

Road Warrior Commentary:

Tonight the Greenville Road Warriors' are hosting the Teddy Bear Toss presented by WSSL and Seven on Your Side. Bring a stuffed animal to the game to throw onto the ice after the Road Warriors score their first goal. The Road Warriors are looking to beat last year's donation of over 2000 toys. All stuffed animals collected will be donated to Toys For Tots.

Tonight also features the Warrior Fun Pack! Get four tickets, four hot dogs, four bags of chips, and two Road Warrior caps for only $48!

Before the game come out to ABC Party Rentals' Warriors Fan Fest. Enjoy the free Kids Entertainment Zone, live entertainment as well as specials on food and drinks. Specials for the night include 2 for 1 beers, $.75 tacos, and dollar wings! The Warriors Fan Fest starts at 5:00 p.m. on the plaza.

Star Wars Night:

Join the Road Warriors on Friday, December 27th at 7:00 p.m. when they take on the South Carolina Stingrays for Star Wars Night presented by HOT 98.1 and Fox Carolina! The first 1,000 fans at the game will receive a free Road Warriors light saber as a part of the festivities!
