Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls (8-12-2-1) begin a five-game home stand when they take on the Ontario Reign (15-3-1-3), tonight, at the Cow Palace. This is the fifth of ten meetings between these teams this season. San Francisco is 1-2-1-0 on the year against Ontario.

Last weekend, the Bulls wrapped up a successful road trip, easily beating the Las Vegas Wranglers, 6-2. San Francisco scored twice in each period, and held Las Vegas off the board until the third. Chris Crane, Tyler Gron, Brett Findlay, Adrian Foster, Dylan King, and Dale Mitchell scored the six tallies. Gron, Jordan Morrison, Steven Tarasuk, Findlay, Foster, and Dean Ouellet all had multi-point games. Tyler Beskorowany had 29 saves, earning his seventh win of the season. The victory gave the Bulls a 3-1-1-0 mark for the trip.

Gron and Findlay have both been fantastic recently. Gron has at least one point in each of his first seven games with San Francisco, and three multi-point efforts. His eight-game point streak is the longest active streak in the ECHL, and the fifth longest this season. Findlay has also been on a tear. Over that same span he has points in six of seven games. He leads the team in assists (10), and is tied for 12th in the league in points (14) among rookies.

The Reign have the second best record in the ECHL, and sit atop the Western Conference. The last time the Bulls took on the Reign, however, San Francisco came away with three-of-four points in a two-game series. The Bulls will look to continue that success back on home ice. To do so they will need to keep an eye on forward Derek Couture, who is second on the team in goals (7), assists (12), and points (19). He has five points (1g, 4a) in his last four games against San Francisco.

San Francisco is in sixth place in the Western Conference with 19 points. They are two points ahead of the Wranglers and Utah Grizzlies. The Reign are in first place in the Western Conference with 34 points, four in front of the Colorado Eagles.

Tonight the Bulls will be celebrating Friday the 13th. The first 500 fans in attendance receive a glow in the dark goalie mask.

Tomorrow the Bulls complete this two-game weekend set, when they will be taking on the Stockton Thunder for a Teddy Bear Toss. The game starts at 7:30.
