Head-To-Head - The Allen Americans won the last meeting 2-1 in a shootout in Boise, on March 7th. Allen won the only playoff series between the two clubs two seasons ago in seven games on their way to a second straight Kelly Cup Championship.
Two the Point - The Americans can secure a ninth straight playoff berth with a win tonight over Idaho. If Tulsa loses tonight in regulation, the Americans would need just one point in their final two games to clinch a playoff spot.
Return of the Mac - Americans defenseman David Makowski was returned to Allen from San Jose today. The Americans All-Star Defenseman leads the team in Shots (207), Power Play Assists (19) and Plus/Minus (+23)
Nearing a Milestone - With Zach Pochiro's 18th goal of the season on Wednesday night, he's now just two shy of 100 points for his professional career. Pochiro is having his best season as a professional with 39 points in 40 games.
Home Sweet Home - The Americans finish off the regular season with back to back home games this weekend against Idaho. Allen collected three of four points against the Colorado Eagles on home-ice last weekend.
New Face in the Crowd - The Americans signed rookie forward Mathieu Foget to an ATO on Thursday. The resident of Orleans, Ontario played his junior Hockey with Mississauga, where he had 38 points in 31 games.
