Moline, IL (Nov. 6th) - Wichita kicks off the month of November with its second three-in-three of the season. Get ready for the game tonight with this Game Day Capsule:

HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the third meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Mallards. All-time, Wichita is 19-10-4 against Quad City and 9-4-4 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita heads to the i-Wireless Center for the second time this season to face the Quad City Mallards. Wichita is coming off of a two-game sweep of the Colorado Eagles last weekend while the Mallards fell to Missouri in overtime on Wednesday night. Quad City headed east last weekend to take on Norfolk and Wheeling and came up short in both contests.

THUNDER SOAR PAST EAGLES - The Thunder renewed their rivalry with the Colorado Eagles this past weekend, taking both contests. Wichita won on Friday night by the final of 5-2 and held on late for a 2-1 victory on Saturday afternoon. It was the first time in four seasons that the Thunder and the Eagles have played against one another.

ROLLY THE GOALIE - Grant Rollheiser earned his second win of the season on Saturday as he backstopped the Thunder to a 2-1 victory over the Eagles. Rollheiser made 34 saves out of the 35 shots he faced, including 17 out of 18 shots in the first period. His save percentage has jumped up to .924% and his goals against average went down to 2.29.

SEVEN IN NINE - The Thunder enter arguably their toughest stretch of the season. After this weekend, Wichita will head to Allen on Tuesday, return to INTRUST Bank Arena on Wednesday before hosting Missouri for two-straight on Friday and Saturday next weekend. In total, the Thunder will have played seven games in nine nights before its all said and done.

IMMEDIATE IMPACT - Peter Sakaris and Todd Fiddler were added to the roster after the start of the season and have made an immediate impact. Fiddler scored just 18 seconds into his Thunder debut on Friday versus the Eagles. Sakaris has points in three straight games with the Thunder, including five points (3g, 2a) in the weekend series against Colorado.

YOUNG GUNS - Andy Huff, Anthony Deluca, and Mason Baptista have been a welcomed addition to the Thunder roster this season. Huff has four points (1g, 3a) in four games, Deluca has four points (1g, 3a) in seven games, and Baptista has three points (1g, 2a) in seven games.

THUNDERBOLTS...Anthony Deluca leads the team in shots with 18...Wichita is seventh on the penalty kill (87.5%)...Dalton Reum has equaled his point totals from last season with two points...Wichita is 3-0-0-0 when leading after two...Wichita is 3-1-0-0 when leading after one...Wichita is 3-2-0-0 when outshooting the opponent...Wichita is 3-1-0-0 in one-goal games...Wichita is 3-1-0-0 when scoring first...Wichita will face Missouri five of the next seven, which includes last night's meeting in Independence...

QUAD CITY NOTES - Quad City went 0-2-1 during a three-game road trip last week...The Mallards last even strength goal came against Wichita on October 25th, which equates to seven goals total (five power play, one shorthanded, one extra attacker)...Olivier Archambault has two points in three of his first five games with the Mallards...Zach Pochiro was recalled by the Chicago Wolves on Thursday...Steve Michalek was named as the CCM Rookie of the Month for October...

AROUND THE ECHL - There are 11 other games tonight in the ECHL. Elmira plays at South Carolina. Manchester is in Brampton. Greenville goes to Norfolk. Adirondack is at Cincinnati.
