LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 3-0-1 OVERALL RECORD: 35-11-12, 82 pts., 1st Place Pacific Division

March 7 vs. Dayton, 3-0 Win - Jamie Holden made 23 saves in the team's first shutout of the season and the first shutout of his professional career. John Wroblewski, Derek Krestanovich, and Rob McFeeters all scored in the winning effort.

March 10 vs. San Diego, 5-1 Win - Trailing 1-0 through two periods, the Falcons erupted for a team season-high five goals in the third. Fraser Clair, Shawn Weiman, J.F. Plourde, Luke Curtin, and John Wroblewski all scored, the final four coming just 5:21 apart.

March 11 vs. Phoenix, 3-2 Win - The Falcons jumped the RoadRunners early, leading 2-0 just 1:23 into the game off goals from Fraser Clair and Shawn Mather. Rob McFeeters then scored the eventual game-winner mid-way through the second before Fresno successfully weathered a Phoenix rally for the one-goal victory.

March 12 @ San Diego, 2-1 Shootout Loss - Pete Fregoe scored and Brett Jaeger made 35 saves through 65 minutes of play before Fresno eventually succumbed in a shootout.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Wednesday, March 15 @ Long Beach Ice Dogs, 7 p.m.* - The first of three in a row against Fresno's closest pursuer in the standings.

Friday, March 17 vs. Long Beach Ice Dogs, 7 p.m.* - The Falcons will be wearing green jerseys to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! The first 2,500 fans will receive a green puck courtesy of Supercuts, KSEE 24, and 95.7 The Fox.

Saturday, March 18 vs. Long Beach, 7 p.m.** - Fresno hopes to draw closer to its first-ever division title with another match against the second-place Ice Dogs. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Fraser Clair bobblehead courtesy of Citizens Business Bank, CBS 47, and Y101. The team will again wear their St. Patrick's Day jerseys, which will be auctioned off following the game to support Community Food Bank.

*Catch all of the live play-by-play action on 1550 Sporting News Radio beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the FutureTek Pre-game Show. B2 Networks' pay-per-view video webcast begins 10 minutes before the drop of the puck via www.fresnofalcons.com.

NOTES

. Luke Curtin extended his team season-high point streak to 13 consecutive games (4g-16a). He begins the week tied for the league overall scoring lead with 75 points (20g-55a).

. Shawn Mather's power play goal on Saturday tied him with J.F. Plourde for both the team goal scoring lead (25) and team power play goal lead (12).

. The Falcons are unbeaten against the Pacific, North, and South Divisions this season with a combined record of 25-0-6. Following Saturday's win over Phoenix, the team is now 10-11-6 vs. the West Division.

. The club's +5 scoring margin during Friday's third period is a new all-time team record for a single period.

. Heading into this week's three-game showdown, Fresno leads the Ice Dogs by 10 points atop the Pacific Division.
