Fan Balloting for Year End Awards Now Online

The St. John's Maple Leafs announced today that fans are able to vote online for five of the teams year-end awards. By visiting the Aliant Fanzone section of the team's website, www.sjmapleleafs.ca/fanzone , fans can vote for the Aliant Sportsmanship & Dedication and Fan Choice awards, The Telegram's Best Defenceman, the Rogers Rookie of the Year, and the Pepsi MVP for 2002-03.
Each fan that participates will have a chance to win an Aliant 12-person party box during the 2003-04 season valued at $400.00. Plus, Fans that select the winner of these awards will have the chance to be selected to present that player with his trophy during the St. John's Maple Leafs Year End Awards Banquet. One entry per contestant will be counted towards the grand prize and the contest is only open to residents of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Maple Leafs continue their 10-game homestand tomorrow night when they take on the Manchester Monarchs. Game time is 7:35pm (NT) and will be broadcast LIVE on Radio NF (930AM) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca
