Lasak Returns To Admirals

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Jan Lasak to the Milwaukee Admirals and that the Predators have traded Admirals' forward Bob Wren to the Ottawa Senators for future considerations.

Also today, the Binghamton Senators' (AHL) sent defenseman Scott Ricci to the Admirals for future considerations. Both Lasak and Ricci are expected to join the Admirals in Winnipeg for the two games against the Manitoba Moose Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Lasak has played in 26 games for the Admirals this season and is 12-7-6 with a 3.06 goals-against-average and .893 save percentage. Since initially being recalled by Nashville in December, Lasak has played in three games and is 0-1-0 with a 3.33 GAA and .872 save percentage.

Ricci has scored six points (0g-6a) and accumulated 23 penalty minutes in 50 games with the Binghamton Senators this season. He saw action in three games for the Admirals last season and was a member of Admiral head coach Peter Horachek's Turner Cup Championship team in Orlando during the 2000-01 season.

The Admirals have also signed defenseman Jeremy Rebek to a 25-game tryout contract. Rebek has scored 53 points (16g-37a) in 60 games for the Rockford IceHogs (UHL).

After two games in Winnipeg this week, the Admirals return to the Bradley Center to play the Philadelphia Phantoms at 7:12 Friday night.
