
Bilotto Released From PTO

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have released Defenseman Nic Bilotto from a professional tryout contract.
Bilotto, who was playing for the East Coast Hockey League's Charlotte Checkers, signed with the Sound Tigers last Wednesday and appeared in four games recording one goal and two penalty minutes. He also played in two AHL games earlier this season with the Hartford Wolf Pack.
The Sound Tigers will host the Springfield Falcons this Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and the Binghamton Senators this Sunday at 4:05 p.m. All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 AM and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 AM also broadcasts road games, and "The Sound Tigers Report" airs every Tuesday from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on "The ZONE".
