Falcons weekly review

November 7, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release

LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 3-0-0

OVERALL RECORD: 6-1-1, 13 pts., 1st Place Pacific Division

Nov. 4 vs. Stockton, 3-2 Shootout Win

Despite generating a season-high 44 shots on goal, the Falcons still needed a shootout to finally prevail over their newest Highway 99 rivals. The victory snapped a two-game winless slide.

Nov. 5 @ Long Beach, 2-1 Shootout Win

A scoreless game entering the third, the Ice Dogs struck first before Luke Curtin scored an unassisted goal to tie the game at one. Curtin then scored as Fresno's first shooter in the shootout, which was all the club needed as Brett Jaeger stopped all four Long Beach shooters in addition to making 35 saves during regulation and overtime.

Nov. 6 vs. Bakersfield, 6-2 Win

The Falcons' most complete game of the season, Fresno jumped on the Condors early with two goals 22 seconds apart in the first period, and then put the game away in the second with a four-goal period highlighted by Kelsey Muench's shorthanded tally.
