December 12, 2007 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Springfield Falcons News Release
Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they will host their first annual ticket package holder Locker Room Tour Event on Wednesday, December 19 at the MassMutual Center from 6-8 pm. All Falcons ticket package holders and sponsors are welcome to attend this special event.
"This is something unique we are doing with our most loyal supporters as a way to say Thank You for your support," said Falcons Vice President of Sales Mike Thompson. "This event will give fans a behind the scenes look at areas that they usually don't get an opportunity to view."
As part of the night, not only will fans view the Falcons locker room, but they will also tour the team's production room, press area and ticket package holders will have a chance to sign their very own Wall of Fame located on the concourse level of the MassMutual Center.
"Our ticket package holder Wall of Fame is an idea used in other markets and it will allow our supporters a chance to sign their name and be recognized for everyone to view," said Thompson. "Our players are going to sign the wall as well, and ticket package holders can sign their name right next to their favorite player."
Fans attending this special event can also buy Falcons merchandise and gift certificates before the holidays, and the team will also be serving hot chocolate and snacks to individuals who attend.
