Syracuse Crunch News Release
Syracuse, NY (December 12, 2007) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Fidelis Al's Pals 'Kid of the Month' Program, presented by Edy's.
The Crunch and Edy's will team up with the Fidelis Al's Pals Kids Club to recognize some of the Crunch's biggest 'little' fans. Each month during the 2007-08 season, the Crunch and Edy's will select the Fidelis Al's Pals 'Kid of the Month,' presented by Edy's.
In order to be selected, registered club members will be encouraged to write an essay of up to 150 words describing why they are the Crunch's biggest fan. From the submitted essays, Al, the team mascot, will select a winner for each month of the season. The winners will also be recognized on the Crunch's website. Fidelis Al's Pals Kids Club members can submit their essays by dropping them off at the Crunch office or emailing them to mhayes@syracusecrunch.com.
The winners will receive four tickets to a Crunch home game, an autographed Crunch item, a special visit by Al during the game, a chance to meet a Crunch player after the game and an Edy's prize pack, all courtesy of Edy's.
The Crunch's next game is Wednesday, December 12 as they travel to Lake Erie to take on the Monsters. The Crunch return home Saturday, December 15 to battle the Hamilton Bulldogs at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
