Today, the Manitoba Moose hockey club visited the Children's Hospital for their seventh annual Holiday Visit. This year, the Manitoba Moose Yearling Foundation will donate over $5,000 to the hospital in various forms, including gifts-in-kind, and donations towards future purchases for the hospital.

As a result, the Yearling Foundation has now donated over $30,000 in gifts to the Children's Hospital over the past seven years.

The following outlines this year's donations:

- $2,500 will be donated to the Children's Hospital's "Sticker Program" given to children in recognition of their achievements during their stay at the hospital.

- Close to $1,500 was part of a general donation made to the Children's Hospital.

- Close to $1,000 in gifts-in-kind (video games, video controllers, electronics) was donated to the hospital.

The Yearling Foundation has also teamed up with the Asper Centre for Entrepreneurship to donate all the stuffed animals and toys received from participants of the Ranger Insurance Charity Golf Classic in support of the Moose Yearling Foundation back in June, as well as a number of "Build a Bear" toys.
