ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades have won three straight and finished this past week with a 3-1-0 record which puts their overall record at 25-9-2 (52 pts., 1st South Division).

THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Tuesday, January 17, at Fresno Falcons 10:00 p.m. GAME NOTES: The Everblades take on the Falcons for the second and final time this year on Tuesday night at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. The Everblades lost the first ever meeting between the teams 4-1 on Jan. 10 in the first game of their five-game west coast trip. The Falcons enter this week's action with a 20-6-8 (48 pts., 1st Pacific Division) and are 10-3-3 at home this season. Florida holds an all-time record of 0-1-0 vs. Fresno.

Friday, January 20, vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots 7:30 p.m. GAME NOTES: The Everblades return home for the first time since Jan. 7 when they host the Pensacola Ice Pilots on Friday night at Germain Arena. Florida is a perfect 6-0-0 vs. their South Division rival this season, which includes winning all four previously played in Florida. The Everblades have outscored Pensacola 30-11 this year and have converted on 10 of 33 power play chances vs. Pensacola this season. The Ice Pilots enter this week's action riding a season-high four game winning streak and an overall record of 15-18-3 (33 pts., 7th South Division). Pensacola is 7-8-3 on the road this season. Florida holds an all-time record of 31-11-9 vs. Pensacola and is 18-4-6 all-time at home vs. the Ice Pilots.

Saturday, January 21, vs. Augusta Lynx 7:30 p.m. GAME NOTES: The Everblades meet the Augusta Lynx for the sixth time this season on Saturday night at Germain Arena. The Everblades have won all five meetings between the South Division rivals this season, including three on home ice. The Everblades have outscored the Lynx 20-10 this season, and have limited Augusta to just one power play goal in 25 chances. The Lynx enter this week's action with a 16-19-3 (35 pts., 6th South Division) and are 5-9-3 on the road this season. Florida holds an all-time record of 37-10-6 vs. Augusta. Saturday night's game vs. Augusta will be another TV broadcast on UPN-8.

Tuesday, January 10 at Fresno Falcons 4-1 Loss The Everblades The Florida Everblades opened their five-game west coast trip with a 4-1 loss to the Fresno Falcons on Tuesday night at the Save Mart Center. The Everblades fell behind early after Fresno tallied a pair of goals in the first 2:30 of the first period, but the Everblades responded with a power play goal by Paul Cabana at 6:22 to cut the Falcons' lead in half. Fresno regained the two-goal lead after a power play goal with 5:39 to go in the opening period. After a scoreless second period, the Falcons closed out the scoring at 11:29 of the third period. Phil Osaer suffered the loss allowing four goals on 35 Fresno shots to fall to 10-3-2. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-for-7; PK: 4-for-5.

Friday, January 13 at Stockton Thunder 3-2 Win The Everblades collected their first win of their west coast trip with a 3-2 victory over the Stockton Thunder on Friday night at the Stockton Arena. The Everblades opened the scoring in the game after a favorable bounce. With a delayed penalty coming against Florida, the Thunder inadvertently banked a pass into their own net. Greg Black was credited with the goal, being the last Everblades player to touch the puck. An entertaining second period saw both teams score early, with the Everblades tallying first to open a 2-0 lead after Phil Aucoin notched his ninth goal of the year just 22 seconds into the frame. However Stockon answered with a power play goal exactly one minute later to cut the lead in half. In the third period, the Thunder battled back to tie the game at two with a goal at 14:22, but Steve Saviano tallied the eventual game-winner just 56 seconds later with his 10th of the season. Phil Osaer collected his fourth win in his last five games after stopping 33 of 35 Stockton shots to raise his record to 11-3-2. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-for-4; PK: 4-for-5.

Saturday, January 14 at Stockton Thunder 5-4 OTW The Everblades collected an overtime power play goal by Anders Strome to help up end the Stockton Thunder on Saturday night at the Stockton Arena. The win didn't come eay for the Everblades with the Thunder jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of play with a pair of power play goals. A wild second period saw the Everblades battle back to tie the game before seeing Stockton regain their lead. Florida clawed back to within a goal on Phil Aucoin's 10th goal of the season at 5:59, then tied the game when Brandon Coalter scored at 11:13. Stockton however, regained the lead with their third power play goal of the night with 2:36 remaining in the period. In the third period, the Everblades scrambled back with two goals in the final two minutes to take a 4-3 lead. Corey Neilson notched his first as an Everblade and seventh on the season at 18:04 to tie the game at three, then Ryan Brindley gave Florida their first lead of the night just 47 seconds later with his fourth goal of the year. The Everblades found themselves less than a minute from the win before Stockton, with the goalie pulled for the extra attacker, scored with 41 seconds left in regulation. In overtime, the Thunder began with a power play, but were later called for a penalty of their own setting up the Everblades power play opportunity and Strome's eventual game-winner with 2:56 left in the extra period. Kevin Nastiuk earned the win in his first start as an Everblade by turning away 20 of 24 Stockton shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 1-for-5; PK: 2-for-5.

Sunday, January 15 at Bakersfield Condors 5-3 Win The Everblades won their third straight game, shooting down the Bakersfield Condors 5-3 on Sunday night at the Rabobank Arena. The Condors opened the scoring early in the first period with a short-handed goal at 3:07 of the period. The short-handed tally was the sixth allowed by the Everblades this season. Florida bounced back however after John Ronan chipped a rebound home at 7:40 to tie the game at one. Bakersfield grabbed a late first period lead scoring with 35 seconds remaining in the frame. The Everblades tallied the only second period goal, with Anders Strome notching his fourth goal of the year at 14:16 of the period tying the score at two. In the third period, the Everblades jumped out to their first lead of the night when Grant McNeill tallied his first professional goal at 8:06. Corey Neilson added to that lead for the Everblades notching a power play goal with nine minutes remaining in the frame. Bakersfield responded to that goal with a power play tally of their own at 13:35. Kevin Bergin closed out the scoring with an empty-net power play goal with one second remaining in the game. Phil Osaer won his fifth game in his last six starts after stopping 35 of 38 Condors shots, which raised his overall record to 12-3-2. Florida Special Teams: PP: 2-for-4; PK: 7-for-8.
