Tonight, the SeaWolves try and avoid a sweep as they look to end a three-game losing streak and a seven-game road losing streak as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the final game of a four-game series at Metro Bank Park. Last night, the SeaWolves fell behind 4-0, battled to a one-run game, but came out on the short end as they dropped their third straight. After taking the first two games of the season series, the SeaWolves have lost four consecutive games to the Senators. Last night's loss dropped Erie back to a game under .500, 8.5 games behind first place Harrisburg and 3.5 games behind wild card leading Richmond...Lefty Casey Crosby takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his Lefty Casey Crosby makes his 15th start of the season and first against the Senators. Crosby lasted just three innings in his last start against Akron in a no-decision In the game, he allowed four runs on four hits with two strikeouts while tying a season-high with six walks. Erie lost the game 7-6. It was his shortest outing since his second of the season when he went four. He is 1-0 with a no-decision in two starts since returning from the DL...RHP Chien-Ming Wang takes the mound for the Senators making a rehab start. It will be the third rehab start for Wang who previous started games for Class-A Hagerstown and Potomac. Wang last pitched in the Major Leagues with the Yankees in 2009. He was signed by the Nationals as a free agent on February 19, 2009. He did not pitch in 2010.
