Altoona Curve News Release
CURVE, Pa. - If you're looking for a new place to camp out with the family this weekend then look no place else than Blair County Ballpark as the Altoona Curve will be hosting a Family Sleepover Night after Saturday night's game with Bowie. Best of all, there is no extra cost to sleep on the field on Saturday night as anyone that purchases a regular ticket to the Saturday night game can sleep out under the stars.
The Family Sleepover is open to any family that would like to come out and camp underneath the night sky of Curve, Pa. Those that wish to camp out on the field that are under the age of 18 must have parental supervision to attend the upcoming Sleepover Night.
Fans will set up camp in the Curve outfield grass following the 7 p.m. game. After the game is over, the ballpark will be cleared of all fans and then those that are staying the night will be permitted to re-enter the ballpark through the VIP gate on the lower concourse with their supplies for the night. Tents (no stakes) and chairs can be setup in the outfield grass but not along the infield. Outside food and beverages are allowed into the ballpark for the sleepover only but must be consumed in the main seating bowl and not on the field.
Once everyone is settled in, a movie will be played on the video board for all to enjoy. Restrooms along the first-base side of the lower level at BCB will be open throughout the duration of the evening. Fans are asked to exit the ballpark the next morning (Sunday) by 7 a.m.
For tickets to Saturday night's game, and for all other Curve games, call 877.99.CURVE, visit www.AltoonaCurve.com or stop by the box office windows at Blair County Ballpark.
