(Richmond, VA) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announce that RHP Ryan Pope and LHP Shaeffer Hall have been received from Triple A Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre. In corresponding moves, LHP Kei Igawa and has been placed on the Disabled List and LHP Naoya Okamoto has been released from the organization. The moves leave the Thunder roster at its capacity of 24 active players.

Pope will make his return to a Thunder uniform, one he wore for all of the 2010 season. Last year, the righty from Bradenton, FL was 4-6 with a 4.20 earned run average for the Thunder. Pope started seven games and also amassed 17 saves. In 14 appearances with the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre Yankees this season, Pope is 2-1 with an 8.14 earned run average.

The lefty Hall started for the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre Yankees on Independence Day and picked up a win in his Triple A debut. In the outing, Hall lasted 6.1 innings and surrendered just two runs against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. The Lee's Summit, MO native is 6-4 with a 3.97 earned run average in 14 starts and two relief appearances for the Thunder in 2011.

After Wednesday's rain out, the Thunder and Squirrels will play a doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 5:05 PM. Two seven-inning games will take place at The Diamond. The Thunder will send RHP Dellin Betances (4-3, 2.71) to the mound in game one, while the Squirrels will counter with LHP Ryan Verdugo (5-4, 4.04). Game two will feature a matchup of Trenton's RHP Craig Heyer (6-4, 3.55) and Richmond's RHP Justin Fitzgerald (6-4, 3.55). The SBLI Pre-Game show with Hank Fuerst will begin at 4:50 PM.
