Baseball Diamonds Are for Daddy's Little Girl

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today Daddy Daughter Date Night at Prince George's Stadium Thursday, July 21, as the team takes on the Trenton Thunder at 7:05 p.m. The event features a special ticket for daddies and their little girls and the opportunity for fathers and daughters of all ages to run the bases together after the game.

Baysox Promotions Manager Chris Rogers planned the event. "Daddy Daughter Date Night was one of our most popular promotions last year," Rogers said. "We always provide a great family atmosphere, but on this night we are even more focused on putting together a special night for dads to spend an evening bonding with their little princesses."

Tickets for the event are $20 and include two lower reserved seat tickets and a voucher good for two free hot dogs. Daddy Daughter Date Night Tickets are available at the Baysox box office or online at www.BaysoxShop.com. Tickets and hot dog vouchers for additional daughters are available for $10 each. After the game, all dads and daughters are invited to run the bases together.

Baysox Community Programs Manager Dana DeFilippo loves the event. "This is the kind of thing my daddy and I used to do all the time," DeFilippo said. "We have been doing things like this since I was a little girl, and I will never forget our special trips to the ballpark."
