Brampton Beast News Release
GLENS FALLS, NEW YORK - David Vallorani scored twice and Alex Dubeau made 32 saves as the Brampton Beast downed the Adirondack Thunder 4-0 on Saturday night.
The Brampton Beast took on the Adirondack Thunder for the second straight night. The Beast skated away with an 8-2 victory in Friday nights contest.
Brampton continued to buzz and took an early lead on a goal by David Vallorani. Dan Leavens worked the puck out of a mess of sticks and legs and found Vallorani all alone in front of the net.
The slick forward went to the backhand and put the puck past Chris Nell to make it 1-0 at 11:10.
The scoring continued in the first with a goal from Erik Bradford. Matt Petgrave dug the puck out of the corner and slid it to the open Bradford who went high in the corner for his third of the season and a 2-0 lead at 12:13.
Brampton would take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission and would trail in shots 7-5.
The second period would bring up another Beast goal. David Pacan, Lindsay Sparks and Leavens would draw the Thunder into the corner and Leavens was able to find Vallorani along in front of the net.
The skilled forward made no mistake as he fired a bullet into the top corner for his second of the contest at 11:20.
The Beast would finish the period strong and would be up 3-0 after 40 minutes of play but would trail in shots by a count of 13-11.
The final period would see only one goal and it was once again on the Beast side. With the Thunder net empty, defenseman Petgrave spun and fired the puck from his own end. He hit twine and sealed the 4-0 win for the Beast at 19:50 on the clock.
Brampton would take their fifth straight victory by a score of 4-0. Dubeau would make 32 saves for the clean sheet, his second shutout of the season. Chris Nell would be charged with the loss for the Thunder after making 12 stops.
Notes: Molson Three Stars 3) Bradford (BRA) 2) Dubeau (BRA) 1) Vallorani (BRA) The Beast would finish the contest one-for-three on the man advantage. Adirondack would end the game scoreless in eight opportunities.
