Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Lansing Lugnuts (affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) in the first game of a three-game series.

2019 Season Series: Lansing 2, Dayton 1 (all previous games in Lansing).

Streaks: The Dragons have lost six straight games and 16 of their last 19 (includes suspended game).

Last Game: Monday: Bowling Green 10, Dayton 5. The Dragons jumped out to early 5-0 lead with three runs in the first inning and two more in the second, but Bowling Green battled back and tied the game in the fourth before taking the lead with three runs in the fifth. Chris Betts hit two home runs and drove in three runs for the Hot Rods. Grant Witherspoon also had a home run.

Individual Notes

Pabel Manzanero is batting .424 (14 for 33) over his last nine games. He has hit safely in four straight games, going 6 for 16 (.375).

Brian Rey has hit safely in four straight games, going 5 for 17 (.294) with two home runs.

In response to the widespread damage caused by the weather emergency on the night of May 27th, the Dayton Dragons will be accepting non-perishable food items at Fifth Third Field for all six games on the current home stand, beginning with tonight's game. Cash donations will also be accepted.

All non-perishable food items collected at Fifth Third Field from tonight through June 2 will be donated to the Foodbank, Inc. Additionally, the Dragons will conduct a "pass the bucket" at each game during this home stand for fans wishing to donate money. All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross, Dayton Chapter.

All fans with tickets to any of the six games on the current home stand (May 28-June 2) who are unable to attend the game due to issues related to the weather damage may exchange their ticket to any future Dragons game in 2019 (based on availability).

The game for tonight (Tuesday, May 28) will be played as scheduled beginning at 7:00 p.m. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m.
