
Doug Doull recalled by Boston Bruins

The Providence Bruins announced today that left wing Doug Doull has been recalled by the Boston Bruins. The 29-year-old native of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia could make his NHL debut when the Bruins visit the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night.
The 6'2", 220-pound Doull has scored one goal with Providence this season in 22 games, and leads the team while ranking fifth in the AHL with 98 PIM. He is playing in his sixth professional season, his first in the Bruins' organization. Doull has 32-45-77 totals and 1,168 PIM in 294 career North American professional games. He has 24-28-52 totals and 688 PIM in 177 career AHL games.
The P-Bruins are unbeaten in their last four games (3-0-1-0) and are tied with the Hartford Wolf Pack for the Atlantic Division lead with their 13-8-5-0 (31 points) record. The Bruins and Hartford will battle for sole possession of first place in the division on Friday, December 12 at 7:05 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence.
The Bruins also host the Lowell Lock Monsters on Sunday, December 14 at 4:05 p.m.
"Providence Bruins Weekly Presented by National City Mortgage" debuts tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on WSKO AM-790, The Score. The show will be hosted by Adam Alper, and will feature live interviews with P-Bruins head coach Scott Gordon, goaltenders Tim Thomas and Hannu Toivonen, Providence Journal beat writer Joe McDonald and Dr. Diana Hackney, the President and C.E.O. of the Rhode Island Make-A-Wish Foundation.
