HEXTALL BOBBLEHEAD DOLL NIGHT ON FRIDAY
The first 4,000 kids 14 and under in attendance on Friday, Dec. 12 will receive a Ron Hextall bobblehead doll, courtesy of Allstate. It is the first of three dolls offered in the Phantoms' Philadelphia Hockey Heritage Series this season. Bobby Clarke's bobblehead doll will be given away on Friday, Jan. 23 and Neil Little's will be available on Sunday, March 21.
SUNDAY IS FREAKY FRIDAY NIGHT
The first 1,000 kids in attendance on Sunday, Dec. 14 will receive a "Disney's Freaky Friday" movie poster. Lucky fans will also receive Freaky Friday DVDs, which aren't available in stores until Dec. 16, and autographed posters throughout the game.
FLYERS ALUMNI PLAYING PRIOR TO SUNDAY'S GAME
The Flyers Alumni team will take on Team Skate to Cure Diabetes at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday prior to the Phantoms-Hershey Bears game at 6:05 p.m. Admission to both games is $20, with proceeds going to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at the Spectrum box office on Sunday or in advance by calling 800-316-1291 or logging onto www.skatetocurediabetes.com. Flyers Alumni expected to play include Joe Watson, Bob Kelly, Dave Schultz, Reggie Leach, Brian Propp, Larry Goodenough, Ray Allison, Ross Fitzpatrick, Michel Petit and Phantoms legend Frank Bialowas. Bernie Parent is expected to be on hand for autographs.
PHANTOMS PLAYER CLINIC ON TUESDAY
The sixth of 10 Phantoms Player Clinics will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 5:25-7:00 p.m. at the Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia. Right wing Mike Siklenka and defenseman James Laux will be conducting the clinic for members of the rink's squirts and mites teams. Phantoms Player Clinics are sponsored by Carrabba's Italian Grill.
MURPHY & MACNEIL VISITING SOUTH JERSEY HOSPITALS
Forwards Mark Murphy and Ian MacNeil, team mascot Phlex, Santa Claus and members of the Hockey 4 Kids program will be visiting patients at three South Jersey hospitals on Wednesday, Dec. 10. They will be signing autographs and delivering gifts to patients at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly at 3:00 p.m., at Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees at 4:00, and at the Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper Health System in Camden at 5:00. Hockey 4 Kids is a non-profit charitable foundation that helps mentally, physically, and economically challenged children of the Delaware Valley.
SPORTSNET TO AIR PHILADELPHIA SPORTS FANS CHOICE AWARDS
Comcast SportsNet is scheduled to televise the Philadelphia Sports Fans Choice Awards on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 5:00 p.m. Center Ben Stafford received a Humanitarian Award at the second annual event on Dec. 4 at the Wyndham Hotel in Center City.

AHL ALL-STAR BALLOTING BEGINS FRIDAY
Fan balloting for the 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic will begin Friday, Dec. 12, at 12:01 a.m. ET, exclusively on the official web site of the AHL, theahl.com. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for the most deserving AHL players by visiting theahl.com and completing the official AHL All-Star Fan Ballot. The players receiving the most votes by position will earn berths in the starting lineups of both the Canadian AHL All-Star team and the PlanetUSA AHL All-Star team. A committee of AHL coaches will select the remaining All-Stars, and all 28 clubs will be represented on the final rosters.
By completing the official ballot, fans will be entered to win various prizes, including the grand prize of an autographed game-worn jersey from the 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic. Ten second-prize winners will each win an autographed commemorative magazine from the event, and 10 third-prize winners will receive an official 2004 Pepsi AHL All-Star Classic T-shirt. On-line fan balloting at theahl.com will end at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 4.
