Coats, Cards & Grizzlies Tomorrow At Harbor Yard

BRIDGEPORT, CT âThe American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, the top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, will host the Utah Grizzlies at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on 600 WICC-AM and at www.soundtigers.com beginning at 6:45 p.m.
The Sound Tigers have teamed with 95.9 The Fox for the Darien/Norwalk YWCA's "Operation Overcoat" winter coat drive for the Norwalk Emergency Shelter. The Sound Tigers are asking fans to bring and donate winter coats at tomorrow's game. 95.9 The Fox's Scotty âWhy' will be collecting winter coats from various locations all day Thursday.
The first two-thousand fans who enter tomorrow's game will receive the second of five special card sets courtesy of the Sound Tigers Team Shop. The card set will feature Dieter Kochan, Martin Kariya, Eric Manlow and Graham Belak. The Sound Tigers Team Shop is located in the team offices at Harbor Yard and has been expanded and will be open for extended holiday hours through Christmas Eve. Holiday hours are 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday.
Graham Belak will also be signing autographs on the arena concourse after tomorrow's game.
The Sound Tigers will visit the Philadelphia Phantoms Friday at 7:05 p.m. They will return home to host the Manchester Monarchs Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and Utah Sunday at 4:05 p.m. All three games will be broadcast live at www.soundtigers.com. Friday's game and Sunday's game will also be broadcast on WICC.
Sound Tigers individual-game tickets are on sale at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard box office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on all game days, as well as on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 203-368-1000.
