
Crunch Announce Details of Canandaigua Wine Company Score For Breast Cancer Awareness Program

Syracuse, NY (December 9, 2003) â The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have teamed up with the Canandaigua Wine Company to help raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
For each goal the Crunch score at home during the 2003-04 regular season (October â April), the Canandaigua Wine Company will make a $10 donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to fight breast cancer. Through 10 home games this season, $280 has been raised.
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation mission is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by funding research grants, supporting education, screening and treatment projects. Since its inception in 1982, the Komen Foundation and its Affiliate Network, have raised $450 million for the fight against breast cancer. The Komen Foundation has awarded nearly 700 international grants totaling more than $87 million for breast cancer research projects.

The Crunch host Manitoba for the first-ever regular season meeting on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. Chicago visits the War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, December 13.
