WET WEDNESDAY / GAME SHOW NIGHT
Tonight's Matchup: The Cyclones continue this three-in-three road trip tonight as they rematch with the Greenville Road Warriors for the final time this season. The Road Warriors have claimed all three meetings during the regular season series with Cincinnati - with each of the last two being much closer than the final score would indicate.
Scouting the Road Warriors: Dean Stork's club snapped its six-game losing skid with the victory last night and, as a result, remain three points back of the Orlando Solar Bears for the fourth and final playoff spot in the East Division. Anthony Luciani, who earned a three-point game yesterday, leads the club with 62 points (24g, 38a) in 56 games this season. Vinny Saponari contributed with a pair of assists last night as well and ranks second on Greenville with 61 tallies (18g, 43a) in 59 contests. Jason Missiaen earned the win between the pipes in the Thursday night tilt and now owns a 13-14-0-3 record with a 3.23 goals-against average. Braely Torris has seen some action in net this season as well, going 3-3 with a 3.09 GAA.
Last Time Out: Anthony Luciani collected a three-point night to help the Road Warriors defeat the Cyclones by a 5-2 final score in front of 3,029 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena last night.
The New Guy: Cincinnati added a new face to the roster as they head down the stretch - forward Nick Huard. The two-time CIS All-Star just completed a three-year career at the University of Guelph where he amassed 91 points (40g, 51a) in 79 games.
Power Surge: The Cyclones have been on a tear of late with the power play. They have tallied strikes with the man-advantage in four consecutive games and now own a 15.4% conversion rate on the season.
