Fuel Add Notre Dame's Schneider

CHARLESTON, SC - At the conclusion of a four-year collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame, Vienna, Austria native Peter Schneider signed an amateur tryout agreement with the Indy Fuel, the team announced Friday. A 5'11", 195 lb. right-handed shooting forward, Schneider notched 30 goals and 53 total points with a +17 rating and 49 penalty minutes in one season with the USHL's Indiana Ice in 2010-11.
In four varsity seasons with the Fighting Irish in the CCHA and Hockey East from 2011 to 2015, Schneider collected 22 career goals, 47 total points and 76 combined penalty minutes in 143 NCAA appearances.
Next up for the Fuel, it's a Friday clash vs. the South Carolina Stingrays with the opening faceoff set for 7:00 pm at North Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, South Carolina as the Fuel look to end the Stingrays' ECHL-record 19-game winning streak and South Carolina goaltender Jeff Jakaitis' ECHL-record 259-plus minute shutout streak.
