Crunch Acquire Former AHL All-Star Center Nathan Robinson From Grand Rapids

Syracuse, NY (March 11, 2005) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they acquired center Nathan Robinson on loan from Grand Rapids (AHL) in exchange for loaning center Jeff Panzer to the Griffins.

Robinson, 23, has appeared in 50 games with Grand Rapids this season, recording 8 goals, 16 assists and 10 penalty minutes. In 172 career AHL games with Grand Rapids, Robinson has tallied 35 goals, 56 assists and 75 penalty minutes. Robinson appeared in five NHL games with Detroit, recording two penalty minutes. A native of Kingston, Ontario, Robinson, appeared in the 2004 AHL All-Star Classic as a member of the Canadian AHL All-Stars.

Panzer, 26, appeared in 51 games with Syracuse this season, recording 8 goals, 10 assists and 19 penalty minutes. In 261 career AHL games with Worcester and Syracuse, Panzer has tallied 70 goals, 94 assists and 104 penalty minutes. A native of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Panzer was claimed off waivers for St. Louis, September 7, 2004.
