Coach Granato diagnosed with Hodgkin\'s Lymphoma

WORCESTER, MA – IceCats General Manager of Hockey Operations Larry Pleau today announced the club has been informed that IceCats Head Coach Don Granato has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Granato has returned to his hometown outside of Chicago to begin immediate treatment.

In Granato's absence, Assistant Coach Steve Pleau will assume the head coaching duties for the balance of the season. Blues Head Coach Mike Kitchen, who has recently been assisting Pleau, will remain in Worcester.
