Drouin-Deslauriers assigned to Greenville

The Edmonton Road Runners have assigned goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers to the Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL for a three-game conditioning stint.

The 6'4", 192-pound native of St-Jean-Richelieu, Quebec will be rejoining the Grrowl after originally being assigned to Greenville on February 7, 2005. During his last stint, Drouin-Deslauriers appeared in nine games with the Grrrowl, posting a 7-1-1 record with a 1.62 goals against average and .957 save percentage.

Drouin-Deslauriers has only played 13 games for the Road Runners this season after he was injured in practice (bruised left leg) on December 31, 2004 and forced to miss 15 games. In 13 games, Drouin-Deslauriers has posted a 4-8-1 record with a 2.87 goals against average and a .889 save percentage.

Drouin-Deslauriers is scheduled to rejoin the Road Runners on Wednesday, March 16 in Chicago, Illinois where they will continue their 12-game road trip against the Wolves.
