Countdown to Face-Off
January 6, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the third-time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will meet the Trenton Titans. Home ice has not been an advantage thus far in this series, as the road team has skated away with victories in each of the previous contests.
Unbeaten in regulation in their last three games (2-0-1-0), the K-Wings have increased their first place lead in the North Division to four points over the Chicago Express. Tonight is the third-leg of a four-game home stand for the K-Wings, who have outscored their opposition 13-5 in the first two games.
This evening is the second-game of brief two-game road trip for Trenton, who started the swing with a 5-2 victory last night against the Toledo Walleye. In fourth place in the Atlantic Division, the Titans enter Wings Stadium unbeaten in regulation in their last three games (2-0-0-1).
