For the second consecutive night the Kalamazoo Wings will tangle with the Cincinnati Cyclones. This evening is the second of 15 meetings between the teams. Kalamazoo defeated Cincinnati at Wings Stadium last night 4-3 in a shootout.
Powered by Mathieu Curadeau and Darryl Lloyd, the K-Wings extended their win streak to three games. Curadeau scored two goals in regulation and helped Kalamazoo's shootout cause by netting a goal in the extra session. Lloyd opened the game's scoring in the first and recorded the shootout game-winner.
Closing out a three-game road swing, the Cyclones are in search of their first win of the trip. Cincinnati, who is 3-3-0-1 away from the U.S. Bank Arena, is playing their eighth road game of the season, which is the third most of any team in the ECHL.

Fantastic Start
With a record of 9-1-1-0 (19 points), the K-Wings are in first place in the North Division. Besides leading the North, Kalamazoo also leads the American Conference and has the best winning percentage in the entire ECHL at 86.4%.
Good Things Come in Threes
With their victory last night, the K-Wings winning streak has been lengthened to three games. Kalamazoo is also unbeaten in regulation in their last four contests (3-0-1-0).
Seventh Heaven
Captain Sam Ftorek enters the contest on a K-Wings' season-high seven-game point and assist streak. Ftorek has rung up 11 points (1 goal, 10 assists) during the current run.
