Filangieri Assigned To Gwinnett From AHL Chicago

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Tim Filangieri has been assigned to the team from their AHL affiliate Chicago Wolves. Filangieri has appeared in one game with the Syracuse Crunch and three games with the Wolves this season, recording six penalty minutes.

The 6'2" Islip Terrace, New York native skated two seasons with Waterloo of the USHL and four years at Boston College, where he compiled 20 points and 165 penalty minutes in 157 total games before making his pro debut in a game with the Crunch at the end of last season.

Filangieri should be available for the Gladiators for tonight's 7:05 p.m. tilt at the Arena at Gwinnett Center against the Elmira Jackals at 7:05 p.m.

The Gladiators continue their 7th season in the ECHL tonight at home against Elmira at 7:05 p.m. The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and Columbus Blue Jackets and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
