- Royals rookie Andrew Engelage is 2-0-0 with a goals-against average of 2.88 in his first two starts.
- Devils' Mike Harder has a five-game assist streak (6a) and a five-game point streak (1g-6a).
- Reading rookie defenseman Scott Fletcher had career-high two points (1g-1a) on Friday.

Elmira Jackals (7-3-2) at Gwinnett Gladiators (6-2-2) 7:05 p.m. ET
- Gladiators' Tom Zanoski has an eight-game point streak (4g-7a) and a two-game assist streak (2a).
- Jackals are third in the league with 46 goals and fourth with 3.83 goals per game.

Cincinnati Cyclones (5-4-1) at Kalamazoo Wings (9-1-1) 7:30 p.m. ET
- K-Wings' Jeremy Duchesne is 4-0-0 and tied for league lead with two shootout wins and one shutout.
- Cyclones' Scott Reynolds tied his career highs with two goals and three points on Friday.
- Rick Cleaver leads Kalamazoo with 18 points and is second on the team with 10 assists and eight goals.
- Cincinnati is 4-1-0 when scoring first and 4-0-0 when leading after two periods.

Johnstown Chiefs (2-6-3) at Wheeling Nailers (4-7-1) 7:35 p.m. ET
- Nailers have won the last six meetings with Johnstown, including three in a row in overtime.
- Chiefs rookie Connor Shields has a three-game point streak (3g-2a) and seven points (5g-2a) in his last five games.
- Wheeling's Adam Berkhoel is 2-0-1 with a shootout win and an overtime win in his last three games.

- Steelheads' John Swanson has five assists and five points (0g-5a) in his last four games.
- Thunder's Oren Eizenman has an eight-game point streak (3g-8a) and a two-game goal streak (2g).
- Idaho rookie Richard Bachman is fourth in league with five wins and sixth with a goals-against average of 2.44.

Bakersfield Condors (8-5-0) at Alaska Aces (7-4-2) 7:15 p.m. AT
- Alaska's Alexandre Imbeault has three assists and five points in his last four games.
- Condors defenseman John de Gray has a two-game goal streak (2g) and a two-game point streak (2g-1a).
- Aces' Scott Reid is 2-0-2 with two shootout wins and two overtime losses in his last four games.
