Sunday, Fresno 3 vs. CONDORS 1; attn: 4,547
Likit Andersson's goal gave the Condors the 1-0 lead, but Fresno dominated the final two periods and stormed back for the 3-1 win. They outshot Bakersfield 26-12 over the final 40 minutes and allowed just two shots on goal after tying the game late in the second period. Dan Tessier scored the game winner on a shorthanded tally and assisted on the third Fresno goal. Randy Petruk stopped 36 shots in the loss.
Where we stand
Despite just two victories in their last 10 games, the Condors still maintain their stranglehold on the West Division with a four-point lead over second place San Diego and a 15-7-4 record overall. Just eight points separates the top seven teams in the division. The Condors are one of just two teams in the West that have a winning record at home and on the road.
