Titans return to action after break

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans enjoyed a nine-day break over the holiday and now return to the ice for four games this week.

The Titans start it off with a contest against the Dayton Bombers on Tuesday, December 28 at 7:00pm. Trenton then hosts the Toledo Storm on Thursday, December 30, also at 7:00pm.

The Titans will ring in the new year with their intra-state rivals, as they to travel to face the Atlantic Boardwalk Bullies on Thursday, December 31 at 2:00pm. The first match of 2005 for Trenton will take place on Sunday, January 2 at 3:00pm against the Johnstown Chiefs.

Trenton remains tied for second place in the North Division with the Wheeling Nailers. The Titans have five games in hand on the Nailers and three games on the first-place Bullies.

Tuesday, December 28 vs. Dayton, 7:00pm 1350-AM Moneytalk Sovereign Bank Arena

- The fourth of nine meetings between the Bombers and Titans this season. The Titans lead the season series 2-0-1. Mathieu Brunelle scored his first hat trick of the season on December 14 in a 4-3 win against Dayton.

Thursday, December 30 vs. Toledo, 7:00pm 1350-AM Moneytalk Sovereign Bank Arena

- Game three of nine for Trenton and Toledo. The Titans have used a 6-0 second period scoring advantage to help themselves to a 2-0-0 edge in the season series.

Friday, December 31 @ Atlantic City 91.3-FM WTSR Boardwalk Hall

- This marks the fifth time out of ten the two teams will meet. The Titans tied the season series 2-2-0 with a 4-2 victory on December 19. Scott Bertoli has 4 goals and an assist in four games versus the Bullies.

Sunday, January 2 vs. Johnstown, 3:00pm 1350-AM Moneytalk Sovereign Bank Arena

- The fifth contest out of ten this year. Trenton is 4-0-0 versus Johnstown this season in which all games played have gone past regulation. Chris Houle is 3-0-0 against the Chiefs with a 1.87 GAA and a .942 save percentage.
