Condors Finish Off 2004 with Cell Phone Collection Tuesday

Tuesday, December 28th - The Condors host the Las Vegas Wranglers for KLLY 95.3 Harry Potter Night. The first 1,000 children, age 12 and under, will receive a Harry Potter School Folder. Plus, dress up like Harry Potter, or any other character in the series, and receive 2-for-1 admission. Tuesday is also a big night in CondorsTown as the Condors host Cell Phone Collection Night. Fans will receive $1.00 admission with the donation of a cell phone. All phones will be donated to the Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault's 911 Domestic Violence program. All working phones will be reprogrammed to dial 911 and will be given to assult victims. All non- working cell phones will be packed and shipped for recycling with the Alliance receiving cash in return. Eagle Mountain Casino Players Club members, don't forget to show your membership card and receive 2- for-1 admission to Tuesday's game as part of Eagle Mountain Casino Players Club Night. The doors open at 6:00p.m. and the puck drops at 7:00 p.m.

Thursday, December 30th - Come on down to the Holiday Inn Select and join the Voice of the Condors, Kevin Bartl, for the Condors Coach's Show from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Each week the show features Condors Head Coach Marty Raymond and select Condors players. The Condors Coach's Show is a great chance for fans to meet their favorite players as well as win great prizes. The Holiday Inn Select is located at the corner of Truxtun Avenue and Q Street. The show can also be heard live each week on KGEO AM 1230.

Friday, December 31st - Start your New Year's Eve off right as the Condors host the Las Vegas Wranglers as Bright House Networks presents Tux & Pucks New Year's Eve Gala with a special Jersey Raffle & Auction. The Condors will don special formal wear tuxedo jerseys to celebrate New Year's Eve, which will be auctioned off after the game. Plus everyone in attendance has a chance to win one of five to be given away! All proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to the United Way of Kern County. Also, fans who purchase a button to First Night Kern will receive a voucher good for a terrace level admission. In addition, the night is a Bright House Networks Family Night. All subscribers can receive $5.00 admission per person by presenting the coupon available in their cable bill. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the puck drops at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, January 1st - What better way to start your New Year's resolution of coming to more Condors games by attending KUZZ 107.9 & Pepsi's Bowl Game & Drink Pitcher Giveaway Night. The first 2,000 adults will receive a Condors drink pitcher as the Condors battle the Las Vegas Wranglers for the third time in as many games. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the puck drops at 7:00 p.m.

Week In Review:

Christmas Eve. The Condors spent much of the afternoon visiting hospitals as winger Todd Alexander and defenseman Ryan Coole visited children at Memorial Hospital's pediatric ward as well as Kern Medical Center. Condors Captain Paul Rosebush and teammates Lars-Peder Nagel and Randy Petruk visited the Jamison Childrens' Center on December 24th. Rosebush has been working closely with children at the Jamison Center over the past several years and invites them to games as well as gives tours of the dressing room.

Christmas Day. Colonel Claw'd made his rounds on Christmas as he visited both Memorial Hospital as well as Kern Medical Center beginning at Noon. Colonel played Santa as he brought presents for everyone he visited.
