Ice Pilots go 2-0-1 this past week. The Pensacola Ice Pilots posted a record of 2-0-1 this past week. The Ice Pilots picked up a points with a 3-2 overtime loss last Tuesday night at home vs. Florida. Nick Lindberg and Ryan Vince each scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Damian Surma scored the game winning goal for the Everblades :43 seconds into overtime. Frederic Cloutier picked up the overtime loss for the Ice Pilots and Craig Kowalski was the winning goalie for the Everblades.

The Ice Pilots defeated Florida at Germain Arena on Wednesday night 6-4. David Turon, Nick Lindberg, Dwayne Hay, Tyler Beechey, Ryan Vince and Cory Stillman scored the goals for the Ice Pilots. Matt Pagnutti, Matt Hendricks, Brad Church and Damian Surma scored the goals for the Everblades. Todd Ford was the winning goalie for the Ice Pilots to improve his record to 7-0.

The Ice Pilots won on Sunday at Louisiana 3-1. Nick Lindberg, Tyler Beechey and Ryan Vince scored goals for the Ice Pilots. Frederic Cloutier was the winning goalie as the Ice Pilots outshot Louisiana 33-23.

The Ice Pilots go into the week in first place in the South Division with a record of 16-5-3 for 35 points which is the second most points in the entire league. The Ice Pilots also have the best winning percentage in the American Conference and second best in the league at .729.

Ice Pilots play home to Florida on Tuesday night, play home to Charlotte on Thursday night and play home to Mississippi on Saturday. All games begin at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will play the Florida Everblades at home on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. It is the fifth meeting of the season between the two teams as the Ice Pilots are 3-0-1 vs. Florida winning 5-4 on October 30th and defeatingFlorida December 14th at Germain Arena in overtime 2-1. The Ice Pilot s lost in overtime to Florida last Tuesday night 3-2 and defeated the Everblades in Florida last Wednesday night 6-4. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 18-21-2 vs. Florida including a record of 9-8-2 at home and 9-13-0 on the road.

The Ice Pilots play home to Charlotte on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots are 1-0 vs. Charlotte this season defeating the Checkers on December 17th at home 8-4. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 2-3-1 vs. Charlotte during the regular season including a record of 2-1-1 at home and 0-2-0 on the road.

The Ice Pilots will play home to Mississippi on Saturday night, New Year's Night at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots are 3-0 vs. Mississippi this season with wins on October 23 4-2, on November 2nd 5-0 both games at Mississippi. The Ice Pilots also won at home on December 3 4-1. The Ice Pilots have an all time record of 27-36-10 vs. Mississippi including a record of 15-16-5 at home and 12-20-5 on the road.

The Ice Pilots will play at Louisiana on Friday, New Year's Eve at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 4-2 vs. Louisiana this season losing at home on November 5th 6-4, winning in overtime at Louisiana on November 6th 3-2 and winning at Louisiana on November 30th 2-1. The Ice Pilots defeated Louisiana 3-1 December 18th at home and lost to the IceGators 2-1 at the Cajundome on December 19th. The Ice Pilots defeated the IceGators 3-1 at Louisiana on December 26th. The Ice Pilots have an all-time regular season record of 28-37-5 vs. the IceGators including a record of 18-12-4 at home and 10-25-1 on the road.

Florida Lottery Second Chance Night and Black Tie Bridal Promotion for Saturday's game vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p. m. It is another Florida Lottery Second Chance Night when the Ice Pilots play home to Mississippi this Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. The first 100 fans will bring $5 worth of non winning Florida Lottery tickets to the Civic Center box office will receive a ticket to the game. The Ice Pilots along with Black Tie Bridal will give away two tickets to the Ice Pilots home game vs. Louisiana on January 8th and a $50 gift certificate to Black Tie Bridal in University Mall. The winners will have an opportunity tow in a formal gown and tuxedo rental for mardi gras or prom during the intermission of the Ice Pilots home game vs. Louisiana on January 8th.

Leading Scorers: Tyler Beechey leads the Ice Pilots in scoring with 28 points and is the fourth leading scorer in the league. Beechey is tied with Dwayne Hay for 12 goals each. Aaron Phillips leads the team with 17 assists. Dwayne Hay is the second leading scorer on the team with 20 points and Corey Neilson is the third leading scoreron the team with 19 points.

Tentative Tentative Practice Schedule this week; The Ice Pilots will practice on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Nick Lindberg has been nominated for the ECHL player of the week as he scored three goals and picked up one assist for four points. Lindberg has one game winning goal and was a +4 in the plus/ minus rating. Frederic Cloutier has been nominated for the ECHL Goalieof the Week. Cloutier posted a record of 1-0-1 this past week stoppin g 39 out of 42 shots in the overtime loss vs. Florida and stopping 22 out of 23 shots in the win at Louisiana. Nick Lindberg has been named the Dodge Player of the week.

Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Assigned Players from Toronto Maple Leafs: The Ice Pilots currently have eight players on the roster assigned from Toronto. They are goalie Todd Ford, defenseman Dave Turon, defenseman Dominic D'Amour, center Chris St. Jacques, center Kris Newbury, center Cory Stillman, left wing Cam Keith and defenseman Tyson Marsh. Dominic D'Amour, Tyson Marsh and Kris Newbury have been recalled to St. John's of the AHL.

Kerr's Kids: For the secon d season in a row the Ice Pilots are introducing "Kerr's Kids." Thanks to Ice Pilots owner Tim Kerr and SMG (Pensacola Civic Center), the Ice Pilots would like to invite organizations devoted to helping children who are terminally ill or have special limitations to be our guest during the 2004-05 regular season for a great night of hockey. Each organization is encouraged to pick 3-4 dates throughout the regular season. The Ice Pilots will provide free admission for 12 people (We would like to have at least 6 or more children, escorts are required for the children and are counted as part of the 12). SMG will provide a hot dog and soda for each guest. If accessible seating is needed the Ice Pilots must be notified at least 2 days in advance and seating will be arranged. All members must stay in assigned seats. Please provide a list of attendee's 24 hours prior to game day. The network includes new flagship radio station AM 1620, Cox Communications and at icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. The game will also be taped delayed by Leafs TV. The pre game show for Tuesday night, Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night begins at 6:50 p.m.

Ice Pilots Offer Pay-Per-View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home games and several road games will be available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Networks based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay-per-view broadcast.

Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connect ion and the charge is $6 per game. At this time a total of 58 of the Ice Pilots 72 regular season games will be available for viewing at www.icepilots.com. Ice Pilots Radio Show at the Gutter Lounge again this season: The Ice Pilots Radio show will once again be broadcasted from the Gutter Lounge at Phoenix Crossing inside the new Liberty Lanes this year located at 3200 North Palafox Street. The show is broadcasted on the Ice Pilots hockey network from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Fans can hear the radio show on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 and on the internet at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. Fans can meet the players, head coach Dave Farrish and members of the Ice Pilots office staff all season long. Ryan O'Keefe and David Turon will be the player guests tonight on the Ice Pilots Coaches Radio Show.
