Columbus recalls Marc Methot

Syracuse, NY (January 9, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled defenseman Marc Methot.

Methot, 22, has appeared in 37 games for the Crunch this season, registering 2 goals, 1 assist and 50 penalty minutes. Methot has appeared in 20 career NHL games, all with Columbus, tallying 4 assists and 12 penalty minutes. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Methot was drafted by Columbus in the sixth round, 168th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch's next game is Friday, January 11 as they travel to Hamilton to take on the Bulldogs.
