Laval Rocket News Release

LAVAL - The American Hockey League announced on Monday that Laval Rocket forward Chris Terry has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Month for March.

Despite a busy schedule of 16 games in 30 days, the 28-year-old veteran experienced his best moments of the season in March allowing him to stay atop of the scoring race in the AHL. With an impressive total of 21 points (7 goals, 14 assists) in 16 games, Terry now ranks second in the league with 66 points (29 goals, 37 assists) after 57 games, only one point behind Lehigh Valley's Phil Varone. During this remarkable stretch, Terry experienced a six-game and a seven-game streak with at least one point. In addition to scoring his third gamewinning goal of the season in overtime at home against the divisional rival Belleville Senators, Terry also shined with two games of three points.

Since the inaugural puck-drop in Laval, Chris Terry has stood out both on the ice wearing the Rocket colours and off the ice in the community. A third participation in the AHL All-Star Classic and a recent nomination as Laval's team winner of the IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year award for his community work in 2017-18 made the season a memorable one for Terry.
