Chiefs and Kernels Rained Out Monday

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Peoria Chiefs and Cedar Rapids Kernels were postponed by rain in Iowa on Monday. Since the Chiefs don't return to Cedar Rapids in the first half, the game will be made up as part of a double header starting at 1:00 p.m. in Peoria on Sunday, June 9.

The Chiefs now return home for a three-game homestand against the Kane County Cougars starting at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday. The Chiefs are expected to start LH Diego Cordero (2-3, 2.61) against Cougars RH Jackson Goddard (3-2 2.81). Promotions can be found on the team website or social media accounts. The broadcast can be heard, starting with the Pre-Game Show at 6:20 p.m. on the Peoria Chiefs Tune-In Page, which is free and also has a free app for smartphones and tablets.
