Checkers Graham Reassigned To Hartford

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The New York Rangers of the National Hockey League have recalled forward, Bruce Graham and assigned him to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

Graham, 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, was drafted by the Rangers in the second round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. In 25 games with the Checkers this season, Graham has tallied nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points. Most recently, he was on a four game point streak where he totaled four goals and eight assists including a five point night against the Wheeling Nailers on Feb. 2. In 18 games with Hartford this season, Graham has garnered one goal and three assists for four points.

The Checkers began their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL. The next home game takes place on Feb. 7 against the South Carolina Stingrays. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date.
