
Fresno's Rookie Eizenman Named CCM TACKS Player Of The Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Oren
Eizenman of the Fresno Falcons is the CCM TACKS ECHL Player of
the Month for January.
The 6-foot and 190-pound Eizenman led the team in January with 14 assists
and 20 points in 12 games to help the Falcons go 9-2-1 and move into move
into second place in the Pacific Division with 56 points (25-11-6).
After beginning the month with a career-high four points, including a
power-play goal and the game-winning goal, in a 5-4 overtime win at Las
Vegas on Jan. 4, Eizenman assisted on the game-tying and the game-winning
goal in a 3-2 overtime win at Las Vegas on Jan. 5. He scored two goals,
including one on the power play, and added an assist in a 6-5 shootout loss
at Victoria on Jan. 18, beginning a six-game point streak (4g-7a).
The 22 year old scored three points for the fifth time with a power-play
goal and two assists in a 6-1 win against Idaho on Jan. 25 and he scored
the game-winning goal on the power play goal and added an assist in a 5-2
win against Stockton on Jan. 27. He ended the month with an assist in a 4-2
win against Phoenix, extending his assist streak (7a) and scoring streak
(4g-7a) to six games.
The Toronto, Ontario native is tied for the lead among rookies and overall
with five game-winning goals while his 51 points in 41 games are tops among
first-year players and tied for fourth overall. He is second among rookies
and tied for sixth overall with 10 power-play goals while his 23 goals are
second among first-year players and five overall.
Eizenman played four seasons at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he
had 99 points (37g-62a) and 90 penalty minutes in 129 games from 2003-07.
He was named to the East Coast Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team in
2003-04 after scoring 18 points (6g-12a) in 37 games.
