Salmon Kings Host Booster Club's Pucks & Kisses Auction
February 6, 2008 - ECHL (ECHL)
Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that they will be hosting the Victoria Salmon Kings Booster Club 'Pucks & Kisses Auction' at next week's games against the Fresno Falcons.
After completing a successful 'Pucks & Bunnies Auction' leading up to Easter last season, the Booster Club will offer a similar promotion next week with Valentines Day quickly approaching. Each package will contain a Salmon Kings game puck signed by a member of the team, and a collection of chocolates. The minimum donation will start at just $10, with the auction running on both Feb. 11th and 12th.
All proceeds from the 'Pucks & Kisses Auction' will be donated to charity through the Victoria Salmon Kings Booster Club's Goals That Give Campaign. Through the campaign, $10 will be donated to a local charity for every goal a Salmon Kings player scores this season. For more information on the Booster Club, visit www.salmonkingsboosterclub.com
The Victoria Salmon Kings would also like to remind all fans attending next week's games to help support the Jeenece & Friends Coin Drive for Variety - The Children's Charity. Coin receptacles will be placed throughout the concourse during both Monday and Tuesday night's contests, offering your last chance to contribute at a Salmon Kings game before the Coin Drive wraps up on Feb. 22nd.
The Salmon Kings will play a two game set against the Fresno Falcons this week, with Monday and Tuesday night's games starting at 7:05 p.m. at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. For information on tickets for the series, please call (250) 220-7889.
